Old Westbury, NY The Long Island Real Estate Group and individual members contributed $20,500 for Hurricane Sandy relief for two Long Beach institutions devastated by the storm: The Long Beach Senior Center and the Long Beach Recreational Center. The funds included a $15,000 contribution by the real estate networking and philanthropic group and $5,500 raised at a Jan. 24 benefit cocktail party at the Old Westbury Golf & Country.
