LIREG Co-Presidents Brad Cronin and Sam Yedid Present $20,500 Check to Long Beach

LIREGLongBeachChkOld Westbury, NY The Long Island Real Estate Group and individual members contributed $20,500 for Hurricane Sandy relief for two Long Beach institutions devastated by the storm: The Long Beach Senior Center and the Long Beach Recreational Center. The funds included a $15,000 contribution by the real estate networking and philanthropic group and $5,500 raised at a Jan. 24 benefit cocktail party at the Old Westbury Golf & Country.

LIREG, formed in 2004 to encourage networking among Long Island real estate developers, owners and allied trades and to raise funds for charitable real estate-related projects on Long Island, has 300 members. Since its founding, LIREG has contributed more than $670,000 to numerous real estate-related projects undertaken by charities on Long Island
